Case Study: Dorking United Reformed Church
Dorking United Reformed Church
Our existing client had been planning for the replacement of their main church and halls systems for some years.
Their original plan was to disconnect the church rooms and chapel from the main heating system and install a smaller independent installation to be served by a domestic boiler. Over recent years community needs have changed and our design was revised to meet these new requirements.
Heating to the Chapel and surrounding rooms is now provided by a high efficiency condensing Worcester combination boiler which also supplies instantaneous hot water for the communal utility area.
The main challenge was to keep the installation within budget but to provide independent operation of the four separate zones all of which were to be used at different times of the week. Industraheat selected the Honeywell EvoHome controls system which could be integrated into the original single zone design thus providing the four independently controllable zones. Further more detailed information of the EvoHome system can be found within the Controls section of our website.
Works to replace the remainder of the heating systems are currently in progress and we will be providing further information on this once the project has been completed.
